I’d Like to Take Violin Lessons, but I Wanted Opinions; Do You Think Learning to Play the Violin Would Be Hard?

I am fifteen years old and the violin is my favorite instrument, but I’m not sure if I’d be able to stick with it if it were very difficult.

I’ve had no previous musical experience.

im 15 too, and i’ve been playing the violin since i was in 4th grade. it was easy for me to learn, it just takes time. like you wont be amazing at it after playing for a month. i think taking lessons would be a good idea, and i dont think it would be too hard to stick with.
I was 12 When I started playing, at first it wasn’t the most greatest thing to do. Because:
1. I sucked.
2. I didn’t think the “violin” was to cool.
3. And I didn’t like classical
Now it’s my life’s passion to play the violin.
1. I got better, actually I learn fast, and I’m motivated to learn. I practice more then 7 horus a week, and spend days JUST playing and listening to violin songs.
2. It’s amazing how many people would LOVE the opportunity to play.
3. Classical ISN”T the only thing a violin can play. I would know, I play rock, and pop, and stuff like that on my violin.
I didn’t have ANY music experience before i started playing. I now, I know a couple of songs on the piano, and guitar due to my interest in my violin.
Hey, when you first start out, your not going to be good at it fast! it’s okay! But, after a year or so, your going to be great. :) Good luck. and have fun. Also, you should rent a violin first. Just to make sure you actually want to play it.
