I would say piano next, though. Every good musician has some piano skills under their belt. It helps with everything musically. You should also keep up the strings. Its like a piano but more original. or an accordion. no really its a cool instrument and it uses skills like a piano. plus you can rock out some hard core weird AL music. just kidding.I play the Harmonica, not as well as John Popper but more on the level with The Fabulous Thunderbirds. this really is a great starter instrument plus they are small and you can get them in every key. They are great as back-up from rock, blues, and funk, to classic and country.you can find Honer Harmonicas at any music store, but I like Lee Osker (he was the harmonica player for the band War) they have replaceable reeds and a great mouth feel.
