I have played violin for 7 years, play with two youth orchestras, school orchestra, school chamber orchestra, my trio, and have been concertmistress of many orchestras and festival orchestras.

1. If you are really good and knolwedgeable, yes.
2. Word of mouth, flyers in music stores, use your marketing sense.
3. In a professional setting, yes. You’d need degrees in music, and music peformance; however if you’re just doing a sort of private lessons gig on the side, you don’t need a degree, you just need to be good enough to be worth the money spent to pay you.
