A violin question?
Hi! When i was in 3rd grade (I’m going into 9th) i started playing the violin. I played for four years and stopped the summer of 7th. Now i would like to play again. I’ve taken a swing at holding the violin and practicing the scales. I’ll probably be practicing with my old teacher, but i still feel like a novice. are there any ways i can improve my playing? (techniques) also, when i was younger, i wasn’t into it so much, but now i am and have been practicing every day for a week. How long do you think it will be until i notice some improvement? finally, i’ve been DYING to learn vibrato (wrist). should i start practicing that with tips i’ve learned online, or should i wait to get better?

You should learn whenever you feel comfortable. If you don’t think you can, then don’t. But if you feel that you’re at the level to, then I’d try it. Start practicing, give it a try….
Answer mine?
I’m sory, but my keyboard is broken so I can’t type the same leter twice.
Lol.
I’ve played violin for 8 years, and I’m going on to 8th grade.
Anyway.
Don’t learn vibrato yet, since you ned to have a proper teacher to teach you how. The worst scenario would be if you learned it improperly, and goten use to the improper way. Then the teacher would have to pay a lot of atention to try to get you to improve it.
Ask your teacher whether they fel you’re capable of learning vibrato. Vibrato is realy awesome & it ads a lot to your music playing so you realy should learn it, just maybe not now.
If you love violin, slow down a bit. My teacher told me that scales are the real important thing that helps you improve about violin, and that songs and such are like candy to fed children so that they practice LOL. I love songs though. No mater what my teacher says lol.
Anyway, if you want to learn vibrato realy badly, I sugest you practice on scales.
I fel awful cuz I have to take ATCL violin exam at the end of this year and im woried.
God luck on your violin playing
Hope you learn vibrato wel
Sory about my keyboard, but I hope you get what I mean.
