Where Can I Find Cheap and Nice Quality Violins in New York City?

I want to learn to play violin, so I want to buy one (preferably) or rent one. I am just a beginner, but I am looking for a nice looking/good sound beginner violin (Price range below 200). I want to but on in NYC. Please tell me the store to buy one or rent one. Thanks for your help. And is there a free youtube channel/online tutoring help for beginner violinsts? Thanks again!

New York huh?i would suggest taking a poke around ur neighborhood to see if anyone wouldn’t want their violin…maybe u could buy it off them or they’ll give it to u i don’t know…Oh NEVER buy anything online since u can’t try it…u should always buy a violin after u try it just to hear the sound…obviously for a beginner it doesn’t matter much since ur ears aren’t trained yet so i suggest buying a violin from a music store…a violin priced less than 500 is reasonable for a beginner…
