Beginner Violin Help Dealing With Books Allowing One to Self Learn the Violin?
Hello Everyone
I desire to know the names of “Method Books” which allow a person to self learn the Violin but at the same time, the book doesn’t require a teacher to explain the material, such as in the case of the Suzuki Method. I would like to know if there are any books that have fingering charts, systematic progress in the method they teacher, and clear explanations on notes and how the music should be played. If they have CD which can be purchase alone with the book, i wouldn’t mind(doesn’t really matter if the book has any CDs).
Books that I have researched on the internet which seems to provide this are
1. A Tune a Day Series
2. Essential Elements 2000 Series
3. All for Strings Series
4. ABC’s Of Violin Series
Are there any others that are similar to these or provide some method with clear explantations? Also, which would you say would be the best of the four listed to self teach myself?
Thank You for your time
Also forgot to add what books are good to self tech yourself beyond 1st position?
