What’s the best way to learn how to play a violin?

I’ve never played an instrument and I’m ready to learn now. What’s the best and most economical route to go?

umm… take lessons. ask someone to teach you. idk

Go to a local music store that sells instruments. Many of the stores have information people on-site who will give you some lessons. You might also contact a local university or symphony and see if anyone there gives lessons. If you are younger, some schools offer beginning classes.

Violin is not an instrument that can be self-taught. You need to learn proper technique and bowing.
