Can Someone Give Me Tips on How to Play the Violin?

I am really want to learn how to play the violin, but I don’t know how. Can someone give me tips so I can learn besides from practicing?

You need a teacher…it is a MUST.
And you need to practise ; you do not get better unless you practise.
Here is a site that will help you a lot. Watch the videos.
Pay particular attention to how you hold the bow and the violin……VERY IMPORTANT.
PS Tip from me : everything should be held lightly. Do not choke the violin or squash it beneath your neck. Hold the bow firmly but relax the hand. The whole body should be relaxed when playing..
