Learning Music?
hi , i want to get some advice from anyone out there. i really want to learn music as a hobby but havent done anything in music till now. i am 22. can anyone tell me how to go about it.

Piano Is a good place to start. You need to have a piano or keyboard and you should take private lessons. I play guitar, but the music theory is the same as for the piano. Practice is very important and do get a good teacher and learn music right from the start.

There are plenty of book, programs etc out there for guitar and other instruments too. Piano is a great way to start because you don’t have to create the note, just press a key. If you don’t have a piano there are all kinds of keyboards out there for a variety of prices too.
I’ve been teaching piano for 30 years and I wish more people would try music as adults. It’s tons of fun and you can enjoy it the rest of your life!
