Would Learning Music Theory on Piano Transfer to Guitar?

i want to learn music theory but i can only find it for piano. would it still transfer over to guitar? i know that the skills wont but i have been playing for about 2 years and need to learn theory.

    It would. But there are plenty of resources out there for guitarists if you look for them. Like this one:

    Most guitar stores should have a book on theory geared towards guitarists too.
