i’m getting a new violin and cant wait to start playing after hearing my best friend learn to play very well. but i dont have enough time in my week to go to lessons. so what is the best and fastest way to learn the violin?

I’m 16 and I have lots of experience with the piano (about 9 years) and i’ve had vocal lessons. I also can play the flute a little. Not as good as piano though because I only took 1 year of lessons. My strength is sight reading; i’m really good at it. Anyway, i want to learn how to play the violin. Is it going to be really hard even with all of the music experience that i have?

Im a junior in high school and really want to learn the violin. Problem is, i have no former experience, i cant read music very well, and my violin is missing a D string:) I want to be in Orchestra by the 2nd semester of my junior year (at least) or definatly by my senior yr. Is it even possible to catch up to their level if i take private lessons? Any tips you could pass on?

I always had an affinity for classical music, especially the melody played on the violin. I played violin for a short while (less than a year) when I was really young. Now I am 22.
Do you think I have to hire a tutor to progress further? Or are there some really helpful online resources/sites??

Is it late? I really love my violin and I pratice at it a lot. Is it too late to learn how to play it? Im already fourteen.

Can I still be successful like join an orchestra or be a soloist or something?

yes, i am a complete beginner, no experience before. and was planning to start to learn violin and was wondering how much i should expect to pay for a reasonable one, would it help to learn violin if i learned guitar i learned it for 2 years and reasonable at the guitar, and please provide website if possbile (: thx, and do the violins come w/ cases and how much should i expect to pay for lessons?? thx a million (:
