Ha ha, it might sound like a stupid question, but I want to know.

I have no musical background whatsoever. Im from the philippines and I dont know where to buy or even if I should buy a violin. I have no idea what to look for when buying a violin. I have no idea how much it will cost me. Im not even sure where to start learning yet.To cut things short, I am clueless. Can somebody fill me in about the violin and its accesories? Thank you!

I have a violin and I wanna tune it. The only way I ever learned to tune it was by using my tuner and then like plucking the strings. I can’t find my tuner and I was wondering if there was an online tuner that works the exact same way where all I have to do is listen and then pluck until they match. It has to be free and online no downloading, if downloading is the only option then go ahead and give that to me. Thanx!

She’s always wanted to learn to play violin so I’m planning on getting her a violin with a cheap case and a tuner and a learning book and everything she would need to get started…but I’m having trouble finding sites that sell violins within my price range. I don’t know if guitar center would have anything good but I’ll try and look next time I’m there, other than that I’m going to have to buy it online. So does anybody have any websites I could check out or any other advice that would help me? Thanks if you have anything!
