Posts Tagged: Learning To Play The Violin

I keep being told that the violin is one of the instruments you need to start with when you’re still little, otherwise, you won’t be able to learn to play it that well. Is this true? Am I too old to start?

The only instrument I can play is the piano, and even that was self taught so I never learned to play it well or to read sheet music.

I am a high school student and am wondering if learning the piano first would help me learn the violin later.

So my question is can this fretted violin help to know where the notes are when i move to a non fretted violin??

i made it my new years resolution to play the violin. ive always loved the violin, but its only now that ive gotten the courage to go through with it (i say that because everyone always scares me off by saying ts too difficult). is it really that hard? im 20 years old, and i keep hearing you need to start from a young age….

also, wat are some good quality Violins for beginners? ive looked on ebay but it feels like they are too cheap to be good.
