Question by Klimbatize: Need help finding 60′s/70′s drum tabs?
I’m currently trying to find these tabs, but have had no luck online,
“The Weight” by The Band
“Mustang Sally” by Buddy guy
“Stand by me” by John Lennon

Anyone have any suggestions? if there’s sheet music available that would be a tremendous help as well.

Question by vballcutie: Playing violin at a wedding…? Need help??!?
So my friend’s mom’s friend is getting married and her violinist cancelled. They are looking for a new violinist and my friend’s mom suggested to ask me. I would only be playing at the dinner and she said to play “dinner music”. I’m not exactly sure what that is an I’m not exactly sure how much to charge. any body know how much I should charge? And does anybody know any music I should play? I’d be playing for 3 hours

Ugh…I used to do this, and it was a pain in the butt, because you can’t really repeat music if the guests are all there the entire time. They key is to find music that is easy for you, so you don’t have to do a ton of prep. Also, nothing too bombastic…you want stuff that will blend into the the background. Are you playing by yourself? If so, try some of these:

3 Things You’ll Need to Master the Violin

It’s truely sad how many people second guess themselves before undertaking a new hobby. Aren’t I too old to learn violin? Aren’t I too young to master violin? Can I master it with the time I have? I’ve heard even more absurd ones, but these are the most common. They are excuses in question form, nothing more.

You can learn to play the violin at any age. I remember seeing a four year old playing violin like a master before. The idea that you can’t teach old dogs new tricks is also garbage. Don’t give up. You can have anything if you want it enough and believe you can have it.

There are a few qualities that will make the difference though. Anyone can learn these, but on some level they must be present and working.

Question by Leading Lady: “I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU” from sideshow! i need the sheet music!?
Please help, I am in desperate need of this music (“I Will Never Leave You” by Russell and Kreiger) within the next couple of days, and no where in my town has the libretto.

Please don’t put links unless they are to the song “I Will Never Leave You” just by itself, not the complete book.

And if you already have the music, a scanned copy of it emailed to me would be wonderful, actually the best option!

I’m looking for free mariachi music. I’m looking for the notes to the song “Las Mañanitas” which is like a happy birthday song. I can’t find it, if anyone can help me on this. I would greatly appriciate it. Oh, and it needs to be for the violin.

is the best I can do off the top of my head. It’s a quartet for guitars, so the melody moves around somewhat, but you should be able to pick out the melody pretty easily.

I can never remember the words when I need them, and being a Gringo whose third language is Spanish, I make grammatical mistakes, but I usually sing

Estas son las mañanitas
Que quireo cantar
No conozco las palabras
Y solo canto la la!
