Heiko Mathias Förster has guest conducted with orchestras around the globe. At 23 he was the conductor of the theater company in Brandenburg. During his nine seasons, he conducted approximately 500 concert performances and 32 premieres of operas and operetta productions as well as touring widely with the Bradenburg Symphony Orchestra. From 1999-2006 he was the conductor of the Munich Symphony Orchestra.

Chloë Hanslip, at the age of 22, is already an established international artist of distinction. Her recent recording of the John Adams’ Violin Concerto entered the UK Classical Charts at number two.

Join us for Concert Conversations, an informative talk pertaining to the pieces being performed, 2:00 – 2:30 p.m.

This is a very fine American violin made in Boston circa 1920s. The piece is Novacek’s Perpetuum Mobile played by a student violnist.
